What if there are functions Penn State needs that the new system does not provide?
Penn State has the option, in those cases, to develop solutions in-house or to add functions provided by other vendors to the system.
How will requests for system changes be reviewed?
The software package will be implemented as much as possible as it is delivered. Therefore, customizations will be kept to a minimum and all large scale modifications to the system will have to be approved by the executive and steering committees.
When will LionPATH capabilities be available?
We will begin accepting applications in the new system in fall 2015, and student aid will begin loading the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms in January 2016. Continuing students will pre-register and be advised in March 2016, and tuition billed for the first time in July 2016. The last functionality that will be rolled out will be the registrar’s end-of-term processing in December 2016. LionPATH will be completely phased in by the end of the fall 2016 semester.
When will the existing ISIS system no longer be accessible?
We will sunset ISIS by December 2016.
How will eLion be affected?
eLion will change and may be rebranded.
