Kim joined Project LionPATH as the communications specialist in June 2013. In this role, she will provide timely and informative updates about Project LionPATH to the Penn State community and the key stakeholders.
Kim has more than 15 years of marketing experience; 13 of which have been within higher education. Prior to Project LionPATH, she worked as a student communications specialist for Penn State World Campus, and has also worked at Saint Francis University and the University of Pittsburgh.
She was part of the team who received the 2012 Penn State Academic Outreach “Excellence in Collaboration” award for the Corner of College and Allen World Campus student blog, and has co-presented “The Lion Lounge: Creation of an Online Campus” at the Penn State Web Conference.
Kim received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and webmaster certification from Computer Learning Network. She is also certified in Prosci’s Change Management methodologies.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys playing bass and riding her motorcycle. She also is certified as an eBay education specialist, and has taught the “Basics of Selling on eBay” course to both individuals and local organizations.
