Project LionPATH is the multi-year initiative to replace Penn State’s existing student information system.
The existing system (called ISIS) manages admissions applications, billing and accounts, financial aid awarding, course scheduling, transcripts, and advising records for Penn State students. It is also the backbone of eLion — Penn State’s web-based access for students, faculty, and staff.
The upgrade to a vendor-provided system will allow Penn State to better support undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, as well as faculty and staff, at all University locations.
Current features will be improved, and additional capabilities, process improvements, and internal efficiencies will be integrated.
A phased roll-out of the new system is expected to begin in fall 2015 and be completed in fall 2016.
